The Perfect Sunshine Six Pack..

2 Bottles – 2005 Fog Crest Chardonnay Russian River Valley
An incredible example of a Burgundian styled Chardonnay from California: Powerful citrus, ripe apple, pear, apricot, lime zest, spice, and toasted vanilla impressions on the nose. Intense, full-bodied, with a creamy texture. Nuances of ripe apple, citrus, pineapple, smoke, sweet spice, and vanilla flavors. Winemaker Daniel Moore has made wine for more than two decades in Northern California. Consulting Winemaker David Ramey. (Ramey Wine Cellars, Chalk Hill, Matanzas Creek, Dominus and Rudd Estate)

2 Bottles – 2006 Simon-Burkle “Granite” Trocken Riesling
This brisk, bone-dry Riesling’s minerality reflects the Hessian Bergstrasse’s basalt and chalk providing clean, bright apple citrus notes. Granite goes well with sautéed chicken, fish, veal and grilled sausage or any hot summer day!

2 Bottles – 2008 Madrigal Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley
A romantic nose of jasmine, white peach, apricot and honeydew draws you into the glass. An elegant yet weighty, almost viscous mouthfeel coats your palate causing you to question weather or not this really is Sauvignon Blanc. The finish is a satisfying clean citrus experience structured to complement most any salad, seafood or white meat dishes. Perfect for any sunny day.

"Jonathan, the Dujac Echezeaux was everything a great wine should be. Wonderful flavor, just a bit of a sweet undertone, and great power."

~ Peter B. New York

The 2008 Madrigal Sauvignon Blanc is one of the most interesting and pleasurable examples of Sauvignon Blanc that I have experienced in some time. Don’t get me wrong, I taste plenty of great Sauvignon Blancs, often, but this one definitely stands out from among the crowd.

The romantic nose of this wine almost leaping from the glass is the first thing to steal your attention with a beautiful expression of jasmine, white peach, apricot and honeydew. The next impressive characteristic is the overly weighty, almost viscous mouthfeel. So heavily does this elegant white wine coat your palate, that your first reaction is almost a double-take, questioning weather or not this really is a Sauvignon Blanc – rather than a good Chardonnay. Once your feet return to the ground, you’ll find the finish to be a satisfying light, clean citrus experience that would more than compliment most any salad, seafood or white meat dish. Of course, it would also pair well with any sunset or afternoon swing in your hammock. And at 700 cases produced, it will not last long.

Contact Jonathan Keller to steal as much of this little gem as you can.

"Jonathan - We liked the 12 bottles of white wine that you sent. We would like to order another mixed selection of your recommended white wines."

~ Jim F. Palo Alto, CA
